Stinnettes in Micronesia
Steve and Anne Stinnette are missionaries to Micronesia with Liebenzell Mission USA, living and serving in Guam and Micronesia since 1979. Steve was raised here in Elon and we are glad for the opportunity to support him in this way.
Sydnors in Austria with International Teams
This mission effort provides ministry to refugees from Bosnia, the former Soviet Union, Africa and the Middle East, and most recently, Afghanistan, who come to Austria for safety and to apply for citizenship in new countries. Paul & Reinhild have the opportunity to befriend these people, help them in their efforts to get on with their lives, and most importantly, to share the Gospel with them.
The Jesus Film
The Jesus Film is a highly successful ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ among people all over the world who have until now not heard the gospel presented. This powerful film portrays the life of Christ and presents the claims of the gospel in the language of the people who see it. Our support will make it possible for this ministry to continue to expand.
Partnership for Global Mission
This line item makes it possible for us to seek out and join group efforts in our area to meet ministry needs beyond our country’s borders. Past endeavors have included Peru, Mexico, Nepal, India, Nicaragua and Refuges in Eastern Europe.
Gideons
The Gideons are professional businessmen who volunteer their time and resources to witness the power of the gospel on an individual basis around the world. The organization takes upon itself the task of distributing Bibles in native languages worldwide, in hotels, schools, hospitals, doctors’ offices, the military, and on the streets. Our support goes to purchase the Bibles.
New Church Construction
This is seed money to which we will add the proceeds of special offerings. When we reach $4,000, we will forward the funds through various Mission Organizations to build another new church in a part of the world where the gospel is making new inroads. The pastoral leadership line item provides annual salary for pastors of these new churches.
