Glen Shelton began his ministry as our youth minister on September 17, 2000.
Glen’s sense of his mission at EPC is to provide a ministry to and with the middle and high school youth and their families that mainly focuses on Christian discipleship and fellowship. His aim, as well, is to help strengthen their knowledge of God's Word.
He and his wife, Kristi, live in the Elon community. Glen, with a BS in Health and Physical Education from Liberty University has taught school since 1988 in the Lynchburg Public School system. Glen also has a career as a professional vocalist and is well known throughout the region for his singing talents. You can find out about Glen’s music at glenshelton.com.
In addition to all of this, Glen leads worship and preaches upon occasion in area churches.
Glen likes to exercise and he keeps track of the weather pretty closely - especially during the cold weather months because he loves snow … what teacher doesn’t?
