Our Sunday mornings begin Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. We have a nursery for infants and toddlers, classes for children, pre-K through 5th grade, and a combined class for Middle and High School age youth. We have two adult classes. You can read more about them at the Christian Education link.

The morning worship service begins at 11.00 am and is typically attended by about 65 people of all ages. There is no particular dress code – some people turn up dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, others arrive in their ‘Sunday best’. In the same way, there are no strict rules as to what’s included in the morning service, although, as you might expect, there are some common elements that we seek to include every week.

Most services begin with a welcome from the pastor (or whoever is leading the service), followed by a service of worship of God. The music during worship is usually a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. The worship service generally follows the Revised Common Lectionary for themes and scripture from the Old Testament, Psalms, Epistles and Gospels. There is also a short time of teaching specifically geared for younger children, after which they leave for their Children’s Church, usually around 11:20 a.m. We usually celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of the month and at other times when appropriate to the church year.

After the service, there is the option of staying behind for refreshments in the fellowship hall, and, of course, the opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones.
